Japanese Carved Ivory and Wood Netsuke Figures

This set features three exquisitely carved Japanese netsuke, including a man and woman each with a basket of fruit, and a laughing third and slightly larger figure. The brown clothes of the figures are made out of polishhed and varnished wood whilst their white skin is made out of ivory. The pieces stand on a wide varnished wooden display base.
